Do you think you deserve to be happy, satisfied and well?
Do you think it is possible for you?
Being well and happy is a delicate state somehow. It seems that we often do not trust it. I am sure that you know those moments when all is well, you may tend to “look behind your shoulders” to see where is the next bad thing is waiting. We have all “sinned” in finding ways to unconsciously sabotage it.
Being well and happy is a state of choice. It demands us to use our inherited ability to move through the difficulties of life without getting trapped in a form of “victimhood”.
It asks us not to be blind, as we might think at times.
Exactly the opposite.
All that we were turning away from within ourselves, is eating away on our capacity to be well and happy. All that we do not complete within ourselves, turns into a blame of the circumstances in which we become the “victims”. We are trapped.
Felling being trapped in some aspects of our lives, diminishes our ability to achieve well-being and satisfactions in those areas.
Today you are invited to free your choice of being well.
Look at those questions below and just give yourself time to think about this subject.
Try to see what comes up for you and what can you then re-adjust, shift and let go of, to continuously invite and be able to better take in more of well-being into your life.
What stands between you and your well-being?
How do you see your capacity for well -being and joy in your life?
How much do you trust it in life?
How much do you feel that you are true to who you are?
Where in life you are and where not?
What is the difference and why?
What parts of yourself are free, and what seem to be captured under restrictions, fears, judgements, shame or other ideas?
Are conditions a problem for your well-being?
What are the conditions you believe are blocking you from being well, true to yourself and happy?
What do you believe is missing for you?
What seems to be damaging your well - being?
What are the inner dependencies that you may keep that distant well-being from your life? Do you know what are the inner conditions and structures you need to sustain and create well-being and joy?
Is there a price you think you have to pay in order to reach that experience of well-being and maintain it for as long as you live?
When things are well, are you able to take it in?
What are you doing when you are happy that then reduces the expansion of this state?
Are you often worried that bad things will happen?
Do you manage to stay connected to your sense of well-being also in difficult times?
Now after writing it all down take a moment to let all those answers linger.
Close your eyes and start and pay attention to your breath.
Try to shift your attention to your ears: try to feel them physically, be aware of them. Be aware of the holes inside of them and how the sounds enter. Feel how do you tend to listen? How do you react to what is happening outside?
Do you manage to allow things around to be without an effort in your ears, shoulders, jaw or head?
Take time to listen to what is around you. Allow few minutes of listening to “the world”. Of letting go of any effort you may feel. Those efforts that try actually to fight what you may hear out there.
Know that truly thinking and discovering is when you let the unknown speak to you. When you are open to receive answers, when your head is not stressed in finding them. When your ears and shoulders are not in a defensive or effortful mode.
The answers are the way that you are constantly reaching out to a state of well-being and joy. The answers of the unknown is the way you are able to perceive what IS. Perceiving life and your place in the world, without needing to judge yourself or fall into the fear and stress of not knowing how to get there.
Try to breath and each time you find yourself retreating into your head, into effort that make the sensation of who you are become smaller.
Try to let go and focus on the wish to expand. Feel the physical option of millimeter by millimeter of expanding. Of breathing.
Instead of trying to find the solution in your mind frantically, listen to what is out there. You should not “know” but rather “be told” by the world.
And now just train to listen.
Let well-being take you and how you the answers, and the constant expansion of this path for you.
Yours
Anna
