What does it mean to stand in your power?

When we meet our fears, unresolved trauma, or stuck grief, we must meet them with and through our power.
Power has nothing to do with rigidity, harshness, or toughness.
Power is connected to our vitality, the unbreakable trust in ourselves and life. This intrinsic power lets us grow and evolve by meeting the experiences ahead, knowing they may be intense and move within us in a way we cannot predict while knowing we will not break or “die” from feeling them.
Life’s experiences change us. We are changed for the better if we dare to meet them with and through our power.
In some parts of our lives, we were unable to do so. These are the wounds, fears, and stuck traumas that need healing.
Life will always bring these unresolved experiences to the surface where we can meet and re-meet them with power. This is the growth of our being in which we can let go of old protective shields that harden our hearts and isolate us, drop the masks we had to put on and lie about who we are, and stop the obsessive effort of trying to be “right,” and melt the layer of shame and self-resentment we carry.
Our innate power strives for life. For the beauty, the complexity, the truths, and the warm love and magic it holds.
It wants us for ourselves, for others, and for the world.
Power starts with wanting to, being ready to, and then being able to meet the experience, doing so with patience, without trying to make it quickly over or needing it to be different, and engaging all of ourselves, which means our whole physical experience.
Try to experiment with agreeing to meet life with and through your power.
Your power. Not in comparison to others.
How will you change- how much will you change to be yourself?
Yours,
Anna
